A Few Things About GROW and What We Believe
Grow operates a facility that is accessible to all people. We strive to create an atmosphere of respect by providing a quality program to support the individuals in their hopes and aspirations. Doing so takes cooperation between many different people. The principles are the individuals themselves; along with the support of family, guardians, friends, staff and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), who all work in concert to provide the support necessary to attain each persons goals and dreams. Our program is driven by the dreams of each person who walks through our doors.
We endeavor to design services that capture the needs of the individuals by offering employment training, finding jobs of choice in the community and offering a way to give back to the community through volunteering and participation in their communities. Accessing the community and learning about opportunities, holds an important part in the design and delivery of our services.
By providing opportunities to learn skills though participation, the individual gains knowledge of those skills, enabling them to make informed decisions that guide them on the path they desire. With the support and assistance from their friends and the community, a winning partnership arises that creates fulfilled lives that we all aspire for.
We believe that it is through attentive listening, equitable and fair interactions and a true belief in those we serve, that we will assist the individuals in our community in attaining their personal goals.
