The following are services provided by GROW:

Community Day Supports Program:
This program offers individuals the opportunity to participate in structured group activities that enhance the skills needed to access their community.  It prepares the individuals to step out into the community with increased independence.  Community Skills Training include:

     -  Money Management
  
       -  Communication

       -  Using Public Transportation

       -  Ordering lunch

       -  Buying and shopping for items

       -  Everyday life skills

Community outings provide the individuals the opportunity to utilize these skills with a "hands-on" experience.  While volunteering provides the individuals the options to give back to their communities and build a positive self-esteem. 

Day Habilitation Program:
The objective of our Day Habilitation program is to provide a structured treatment program of therapeutic and habitation services, which are medically driven to elevate the participants' level of functioning, and to facilitate independent living and self-management in their communities.  Our participants focus on the development of the necessary skills which will provide a wide range of individualized services including:

• Independent living
• Sensori-motor development
• Communication
• Affective development
• Behavorial and Social Development

Vocational and Employment Program:
Working closely with the individuals, their families and employers to optimize personal growth achievement by promoting positive employment experiences.  In-House contract work at our production facility, located in Avon, MA., meets the need of both the individual and the employer by providing non-machinery and production/assembly work.  The Vocation and Employment program provides:

• Programs to determine an Individual's vocational strengths, weaknesses, interests, and aptitudes
• Develop realistic vocational goals and recommendations for future services
• Prior to job assignments, individuals are evaluated on a variety of tasks to help identify personal strengths and preferences
• Job assignments are based on personal preferences, production demands and evaluation results
